ANIMAL GROOMING - TUE 10-12 & 1-3 / WED 10-2
Students learn the grooming techniques that are commonly applied to domestic dogs and cats. Students discover how to identify breeds and select the best techniques to enhance their natural beauty and physical attributes, while maintaining professional standards of health and safety. Students have the opportunity for hands-on application of theory during lab grooming sessions. Smock provided.

CARPENTRY PRACTICE - TUE, WED, THU 9-2 pm
Students apply carpentry principles in a lab environment by completing individual and group projects. Through practice and the hands-on application of fundamental carpentry theory, students become familiar with building materials, measuring systems, hand and power tools use, framing, and finishes, while following all industry and carpentry specific safety guidelines and building codes.
